The 40896 Scully's Lab is a 221-piece companion set recreating Scully's classroom lab at the FBI National Academy. Why isn't the Cigarette Smoking Man in the LEGO X-Files set?
He is — but LEGO couldn't use the trademarked name 'Cigarette Smoking Man.' He appears as 'Carl Busch,' one of the character's aliases in the original show. No cigarette accessory included (LEGO doesn't do cigarettes in minifigures), but the character himself is present. Fans on Jay's Brick Blog mostly took it in stride — one commenter called it 'a decent workaround.'
Where are the Lone Gunmen minifigures?
