May the 4th LEGO Drops 2026: UCS N-1 Starfighter, Jurassic Park Jeep & Everything You Need to Know

Happy May the 4th! Whether you're a hardcore Star Wars fan, a Jurassic Park devotee, or just someone whose LEGO® wishlist has quietly spiralled out of control — May 2026 is one of the best months for new releases in years. We've rounded up everything dropping this month, answered the questions we keep getting asked, and explained why a LendABrick subscription might just be the smartest move you make all year.

The Big One: LEGO® UCS Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter (75442)

LEGO® 75442 UCS Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter — 1,809 pieces, £229.99

The first UCS set of 2026 is here — and it's a beauty. Set 75442, The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter, is a 1,809-piece build priced at £229.99 in the UK. Available now for LEGO Insiders, and from 4 May for everyone else.

Din Djarin and Grogu minifigures complete the display — perfect for any shelf

The standout feature is the drum-lacquered silver elements — giving Mando's stripped Naboo Starfighter that brushed-chrome, screen-accurate finish. Reviewers have called it one of the most visually striking UCS starfighters in years. It includes minifigures of Din Djarin and Grogu (a brand-new Grogu mould), plus a UCS display plaque. Timed perfectly ahead of The Mandalorian & Grogu film hitting UK cinemas on 22 May 2026.

Star Wars Day GWPs — Act Fast, These End 6 May

LEGO® 40917 The Darksaber — free GWP when you spend £145+ on Star Wars sets before 6 May

Buy 75442 before midnight on 6 May and you get the Mandalorian and Grogu Display (5010320) free — an exclusive lenticular display piece. Spend £145+ on any Star Wars sets and you also get the buildable Darksaber (40917) free. Spend £35+ and you get the Razor Crest (30728) polybag. All three end 6 May while stocks last. LEGO Insiders can also redeem the Mandalorian and Grogu Metal Card for 2,500 points. The account is free — takes two minutes and gets you early access and points on every purchase.

Is the UCS N-1 Starfighter Worth £229.99?

At around 12.7p per piece it's on the pricier side for the piece count. But as a display piece with genuinely unique drum-lacquered parts and excellent screen accuracy, most reviewers agree it earns its place in the UCS lineup. Factor in the free GWPs worth well over £30 and it becomes much easier to justify.

Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler (77984) — Out 7 May, £179.99

LEGO® 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler — the iconic JP Explorer, 1,924 pieces at 1:10 scale

The most anticipated non-Star Wars set of the month. The 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler recreates the iconic Jeep Explorer from the original 1993 film at 1:10 scale — 1,924 pieces, £179.99. It's a 4-in-1 set launching 7 May with LEGO Insiders getting early access on launch day.

You can build it as Jeep #18 or #29 (the guest tour Jeeps), Jeep #12 (Dennis Nedry's escape vehicle), or Jeep #10 from the T. rex chase. Features include opening doors and hood, removable canvas roof, working winch, and front-wheel steering via the spare tyre. Dennis Nedry minifigure included — with a new face print and that yellow raincoat.

Tip: there's an unconfirmed GWP (reference 40895) expected alongside the Jeep on 7 May. If you're not rushing, it might be worth waiting until launch day to see what's included before you buy.

Everything Else Dropping in May 2026

Toy Story fans get three new sets this month including the Slinky Dog Bookends (43301) and the Alien with Pizza Planet Rocket Ride (43307) — both great display builds for adult fans. Football fans have a massive LEGO Editions wave timed to the FIFA World Cup 2026 featuring Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappé and Vini Jr., plus a buildable World Cup Emblem (43032). Formula 1 fans get two Ferrari helmets: Charles Leclerc (43014) and Lewis Hamilton (43022), both £89.99. Collectible Minifigures Series 29 is also now available. And the LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight video game launches on PS5, Xbox Series and PC on 22 May.

Questions We Keep Getting Asked

Do I need a LEGO Insiders account for the May the 4th deals?

Yes — you need one to buy the N-1 from 1 May. Without it you'll wait until 4 May. The account is completely free and takes about two minutes. You earn points on every purchase redeemable for rewards and exclusive sets. There's genuinely no reason not to have one.

Is the new N-1 the same as the old UCS Naboo Starfighter?

No — 75442 is Mando's modified version, not the classic yellow Naboo Starfighter. The original UCS Naboo Starfighter (10026) came out in 2002 — 24 years ago. This new set uses drum-lacquered silver elements rather than yellow, and has a completely different build technique. Plenty of MOC builders are already planning Naboo Starfighter colour conversions.

LEGO keeps getting more expensive — is there a smarter way to build more?

This is the question we get asked most — and it's exactly why LendABrick exists. The UCS N-1 is £229.99. The Jeep is £179.99. A LendABrick Pro Builder subscription is £14.49 a month — you choose your set, it arrives Royal Mail Tracked 48, you build and enjoy it, then swap for something new whenever you're ready. Unlimited swaps, no deadlines, cancel any time.

For the price of one mid-range set you could build 12 or more across the year. No storage headaches. No buyer's remorse. Just the build — which is the best part anyway. We've been voted the UK's No.1 LEGO rental service in an independent survey, and plans start from just £9.49 a month.

What's coming in June 2026?

June is already shaping up well. New LEGO City summer sets have been revealed alongside a fresh Minecraft wave including a Skeleton model and Ender Dragon build. Speed Champions also has a new wave arriving in June headlined by Ken Block's '65 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn V1 (77262). We'll have the full June roundup closer to the time.

Build More. Spend Less. That's LendABrick.

With May's releases reminding us just how quickly the LEGO wishlist grows — and how fast the price adds up — a LendABrick subscription makes more sense than ever. Voted UK No.1 LEGO rental service in an independent survey. Plans from £9.49/month. Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery. Cancel any time. Visit lendabrick.com to get started.
